Neutral Underwear
Always bring neutral-colored, skin-toned, or white underwear. Avoid bold patterns or colors, as these may be visible under certain outfits. Seamless styles are the best choice, as they won’t show under clothing.
Minimal to No Makeup
For many shoots, you're expected to arrive with a clean, makeup-free face so the photographer or stylist can create the desired look. Make sure your skin is well-moisturized and fresh, but avoid foundation or heavy makeup.

Well-Groomed Skin, Hair, and Nails
A flawless appearance is a must! Keep your skin hydrated, and avoid trying new products or tanning before a shoot, as it could cause adverse reactions. Hair should be clean and free from styling products unless otherwise directed. Nails should be neatly trimmed and polished in neutral tones, if needed.
Appropriate Clothing and Shoes
Always bring a selection of basics, such as simple black or white T-shirts, fitted jeans or pants, and plain yet stylish shoes. This ensures you’re ready for any spontaneous outfit changes or additional shots. Avoid noticeable brands or logos unless requested.
Accessories – Less is More
Most shoots will have specific accessory requirements, so avoid wearing anything bold. Keep it simple and minimal. If requested, you can bring subtle accessories, but refrain from experimenting without direction.
Personal Hygiene and Grooming
Fresh breath, well-groomed armpits, and proper foot care are essential. A model needs to feel confident and comfortable, especially for close-up shots. Make sure you’re prepared to look and feel your best for the shoot.
